I picked this graphic because it just shows exactly what students in the primary grades are capable of. 1st and 2nd grade students can draw and write about each of their own drawings.

I like this picture because it reminds me of how much progress students make over the first and second grade years. The students from the beginning of the year are completely different writers at the end of the year.
